The Nook is a blog, which started last year. My background in writing goes back to when I was still in elementary. I had been part of the student publications from intermediate school up to college and had worked at marketing firm that sell contents for business blogs. However, I resigned from that job and out of thinking many times if I should or not start a blog, I finally came to a decision and started doing so.

Why “The Nook”?

Sometimes, you can hear yourself more, think or focus when you are alone and immersed in silence. When I was still a kid, I used to look for a corner anywhere in the house, classroom or library, to read, sketch or write. We did not have that much of reading materials back then but even so, it gave us opportunity to learn.

This blog is all about random things but mostly about traveling, personal reflections, projects and other things that I may write along the way. I did, if you noticed, add photography but please bear with the photos as I am not a professional one – just someone who likes to capture a moment that, I hope, could tell a story and inspire people.

Most times, you will read about posts related to Zambales because it is where I live in. However, I will try my best to post about some other places, which hopefully, I can go to considering the workload that I have in my current job.

For me, writing is all about sharing your ideas and it is a responsibility because what you write can impact your readers. I am praying you will enjoy the posts, leave your thoughts about them and learn something.
